Hello all, 

I am super excited to share with everyone an old taste of a new author to come. Yes, she's my firstborn and the face of my first book, It was Never a Choice, but if she weren't, I'd watch her work all the same. She's weaving her first book as we speak. Well, her first written as an adult. And for everyone who loves fantasy and romance, while mixed with a little gore, you'll love it. The words she plays with mortars a visual experience that captures your emotions and places your senses within the story. She's been writing stories since she was a kid and remains my inspiration for writing. I wanted to share one of her poems she created in her early teens—one still relevant in today's world—and one that, at the time, made me wonder whether I'd sent her out into the world after keeping her too sheltered, or if I was the cause of her worldview.
